Halff routinely uses Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) on development projects to capture data on existing utility location and condition. This allows our clients to make educated decisions and ensure proper due diligence.

Our experience includes:

• Assisting with site selection
• Scanning proposed sites to identify and locate utilities and obstructions (both known and previously unknown)
• Verifying utilities for service-point connections and associated conflicts
• Providing designation and location of existing utilities for offsite routes and corridors

We have SUE experience with commercial, industrial, residential and retail developments. Halff’s goal is to assist stakeholders by gathering relevant utility data as early as possible, to allow the project to progress without delay.
