Halff provided construction engineering and inspection services for the $65.3 million roadway widening and rehabilitation of FM 181 from CR 313 near Kermit, Texas.
This 24-mile project includes the construction of two new outside lanes, new drainage structures, utility coordination, embankment, base, and HMAC and SMAR-F pavement. These improvements are necessary as SH 302 is currently ranked the fifth most dangerous roadway in Texas due to the large amounts of energy sector traffic within the corridor.
